Chiropractic Adjustment

Adjustment involves placing patient in a specific set-up position. This is dependent upon the joint to be adjusted. Applied is the correct amount of force to the joint with use of hands. Quick short thrusts are applied to the joint. The thrust allows movement in the joint where a pop or clicking sound maybe heard. These adjustments have been demonstrated for pain relief, muscle relaxation and increased movement.
One principal idea of chiropractic treatment is spinal nerves journey to every structure in the body. If they are adversely affected upon leaving the spinal column when there is a reduction in motion and pain between the vertebra When adversely affected, they transmit false signals and problems can then occur. This is way spinal manipulation is very important for a persons overall health.

Soft Tissue Therapy

A deep muscle massage is applied to provide pain relief, tension and lessen scar tissue. This therapy is done by application of a warm cream to the specific muscle. Then apply pressure with hands or fingers, then slide along the muscle fibers or in a cross wise direction.

Muscle Release Therapy

This is done by placing specific muscle in a shortened position then lengthening muscle during the application of pressure with the thumb or hand to produce a stretch, remove any scar tissue adhesions and to improve muscle motion and decrease pain.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger points stop the full lengthening of muscles therefore causing full range of motion to be less. This therapy releases these spots through the use of cross fiber friction massage, longitudinal muscle stripping and manual compression.

Other Therapies:

Hypnotherapy

The term "hypnosis" comes from the Greek word hypnos, meaning "sleep." Hypnotherapists use exercises that bring about deep relaxation and an altered state of consciousness, also known as a trance. A person in a deeply focused state is unusually responsive to an idea or image, but this does not mean that a hypnotist can control the person's mind and free will. On the contrary, hypnosis can actually teach people how to master their own states of awareness. By doing so they can affect their own bodily functions and psychological responses. Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use of hypnosis or hypnosis used in a clinical setting. The Hypnotherapist uses "no touch" therapy.

Reflexology

Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure by thumbs and fingers to specific points and areas on the feet, hands, or ears in order to improve the recipient's health.

Champissage Therapy

Champissage therapy is also known as Indian Head Massage. It massages the massage of the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, face, ears and energy balancing.

Reiki Therapy-Energy Healing

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
